Bombtrack Tension Rival
Our ‘standard’ model is anything but, using everything we have learned from our elite racer Gosse van der Meer’s race bike. The Tension offers a lightweight aluminium frame and full carbon fork with mud-friendly SRAM Rival 1x transmission and 160 mm hydraulic brakes. We’ve fitted race legal 32 mm XCX Vee tyres on the 650B XS - S sizes and 33 mm Schwalbe X-one Allround tyres on the M - XL models. The frame has rack and fender mounts and the cassette is a little more versatile with its wider ratios should you wish to use it for bikepacking rides or everyday commuting. No one says you have to race all the time - just at the weekend, right?
