Romagna Bike Trail

If you don’t feel comfortable with all the hundreds of participants at other bikepacking challenges, the ROMAGNA BIKE TRAIL might be your thing. With an amount around +30 participants the RBT is rather an informal event among like-minded – you definitely won’t leave the event without great chats you had, and probably without making new friends. The RBT is taking place in one of the most beautiful regions of Italy – the Emilia Romagna. Based around known cities like Bologna, Parma, Modena, Ferrara and the Adriatic sea the Emilia Romagna is not only known for their incredible food, or their famous cars and motorbikes (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Ducati ...) – it’s mostly its diverse landscapes from the sea to the mountainous Apennines that attracts cyclists to ride this region north of Europe’s smallest microstate “San Marino”. You can choose between 2 different routes and lengths, you can choose between a proper bikepacking-race, but you can also plan your trip from a nice beautiful accommodation to another and rather approach the event as a comfortable tour. That way the ROMAGNA BIKETRAIL is worth a trip whatever your preferred “style” might be. If you are looking to combine a short holiday with a great cycling event: think about participating!
