Kielder Forest: April 12th and 13th 2019

The Dirty Reiver 200 (200km), Dirty One Thirty (130km) are off road cycling challenges based on the Gravel Grinder format found predominantly in the mid west of America.

Riders will traverse gravel forest access roads that service the vast areas of forest covering the border region of England and Scotland. The events will take riders through remote areas providing outstanding viewpoints across this spectacular part of the UK.

Due to the shared use of some of the course the Dirty Reiver is NOT races but a time-measured challenge. Finishing times will be graded and these grades are detailed in finishing times on the event page.

Those who like their drop bar riding on the gravelly side will be pleased to hear Europe's largest gravel grinder is back again in 2019. Offering 200km, 130km and 65km options again this increasingly popular form of riding seeks to be bigger and better in its next edition.

The Dirty Reiver will take place over 2 days with the inaugural Expo event taking place on the Friday. This Expo will offer riders the chance to get to grips with product from the events sponsors as well as enjoy some social downtime and prepare for the following days ride. Expect to find a pasta party taking place on the Friday evening to ensure all riders are well prepped for the task at hand.

With having a (limited) starter’s field of 1.200 the Dirty Reiver is the biggest Gravel Event outside the United Stated.
