Tempest disc


Brand new for 2017, the Tempest Disc brings with it the superior braking performance of disc brakes to our trusted road bike. Although the pro peloton can’t enjoy the benefits of disc brakes at this moment, fortunately us mere mortals can. Using the new ‘flat mount’ version of the highly regarded TRP Spyre calipers they are neatly tucked away into the frame and the backside of the fork. To make the most out of the newly tapered head tube, the Tempest Disc continues the front-end stiffness thanks to a 12mm thru-axle hub from the renowned maker, DT-Swiss. This is matched to a rear thru-axle, nestled neatly under the all-new dropouts, which also feature a replaceable hanger should it come to any harm. The Selle San Marco saddle is really a cherry on top for the Tempest Disc, which is otherwise garnished with more Italian componentry from Deda, and its Zero 1 finishing kit.
