Introduced last year, the response and reviews of the Tempest took us a-back, it seems there are some big fans of this bike out there! Possibly it was the slim silhouette that stood out amongst all the carbon and alloy, we’re not sure, but we’re very happy about the warm reception. Undoubtedly the clean and uncluttered lines give the Tempest its distinct look. As anyone who’s ridden a steel frame will testify, it’s not only the looks, but nothing rides like it, comfortable yet stiff and will feel the same decades later. The Tempest proudly wears the prestigious white Dove of Columbus, showing that it’s not ‘any old’ steel frame. The carefully selected tubing gives the Tempest stiffness where it’s needed, without piling on the weight. Updated for 2017 the Tempest now features a tapered head tube and matching carbon blade fork. The Shimano 105 groupset provides silky smooth shifting and the pro-compact chainset with 11-28t cassette provide a balance of climbing ability with flat out speed. The Deda Zero 1 finishing kit help round off this rather stealthy looking, road machine.
